As a Pharmacist working in the Hospice setting, one of the biggest question and concern that I get is centered around pain. Am I or is my love one going to be in pain? So, our goal is your comfort and the way that we achieve that is by having a group of people dedicated to that exact same goal.

A big area of confusion is the difference between hospice and palliative care. So palliative care is basically comfort care or symptom management care, and hospice is a specific type of palliative care.

Hospice is Patient Center Care provided in the home setting when you might be facing a terminal diagnosis. So, when say the home setting, it can be anywhere that you call home, whether that be in your house, an Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Home or Boarding Care.
